Roofing Train Square, Heilbronn

In spatial connection with the historically protected train station building from the 50s, a large-spanned glass canopy protects the bus and tram stops from the weather at an important junction between city centre and train station. The supporting structure consists of a hanging roof which balances itself with its weight of approximately 1100m2 area, hung inside a frame system of steel tubes.
